Brittany Hillman
Brittany Hillman is a native of Prattville, Alabama who flourished as a student of Karen Jordan at Centre for Performing Arts as a dedicated competitive dancer & assistant teacher. Due to the high-quality instruction provided at Centre & the opportunities made available to students, Brittany was accepted into Oklahoma City University’s prestigious Dance Management Program. Brittany moved to Oklahoma City to continue pursuing her passion for dance at Oklahoma City University where she performed as a member of the OCU Pep Team and The American Spirit Dance Company. After school Brittany began performing professionally with Silvertree Productions for five years at various theme parks and venues across the country. As she continued to thrive in the entertainment industry she became the Entertainment Manager for Silvertree Productions for Six Flags Frontier City Theme Park for two years while still continuing to tour and perform with the company. While working for Silvertree Productions she became the Director of Communications for “The World of Magic” touring production as well as a magician’s assistant. She then directed her career path back to the dance studio, joining the incredible faculty of Dance Unlimited Performing Arts Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During the three years Brittany worked for Dance Unlimited she was the office manager, a dance educator, and a co-director for the Vibe Dance Company. Brittany also choreographed for the Bethany High School Pom Team & produced her own show for Six Flags Frontier City for their 2019 Fright Fest Season. Brittany is relocating back to the Birmingham area in July 2020 and cannot wait to become a member of the Evolve Studio for the Arts, formerly Centre. Brittany is ecstatic to pour her passion and knowledge into the students and community of Evolve Studio for the Arts and to give back to the dance community in Alabama that gave her so much as a student. Here’s to an incredible first year at Evolve!
